The European Club Cup in chess continues on the island of Rhodes, Greece.
According to Idman.Biz, in the second round, the Azerbaijani club "Vugar Gashimov", featuring Rauf Mammadov, Aydin Suleymanli, Ahmad Ahmadzade, Read Samadov,
Vugar Manafov, Khazar Babazade, and Kazakhstani Nogerbek Kazybek, defeated the Swedish team "Lunds ASK" with a score of 5:1.
With this victory, the team has four points and has risen to the top ten. Turkish clubs "Beyeqan Pendik" and "Turkish Airlines", featuring Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Khagan Ahmad, also won their second victory in the tournament.
The Serbian team "Sirmium Sremska Mitrovica", with Govhar Beydullayeva in the squad, and the Romanian team "Superchess", with Ulviyya Fataliyeva playing, are still undefeated.
