The final games of the Azerbaijan Chess Championship have been played. Sport24.az reports that in the first game of the men's final, Shahriyar Mamedyarov drew with Muhammad Muradli.
In the women's final, Ulviyya Fataliyeva defeated Ayan Allahverdiyeva in the first game.
In the matches for third place, Read Samadov lost to Aydin Suleymanli. The game between Turkan Mamedyarova and Gulnar Mammadova ended in a draw.
The return matches will take place tomorrow.
