The next Reporting Conference of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF) was held. Sport24.az reports that, first, the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country and the representatives of the chess community who died during the reporting year was commemorated with a minute of silence.
The president of the organization, Mahir Mammadov, greeted the guests, conference participants and media representatives.
Then the floor was given to the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov. The minister said that great achievements have been made in Azerbaijani chess.
Then, according to the procedure, it was reported that the Conference is authorized in accordance with the quorum. The president of ACF, chairman of the Executive Committee of the organization, Mahir Mammadov, delivered a report on the results of 2025. A video reflecting the events in Azerbaijani chess was also presented.
ACF inspector Rauf Hajili presented the budget report for 2025. After the discussion, the budget report was approved. At the same time, information was provided about the federation's budget for 2026.
The new logo and updated website of ACF were presented to the conference participants.
The report on the work done during 2025 by the Commissions of the Federation on Judges, Coaches, Children and Youth, Composition, as well as Women and Social Issues was heard.
Finally, ACF President Mahir Mammadov thanked the conference participants.
