The 58th Memorial tournament dedicated to the memory of the third world champion Jose Raul Capablanca continues in the city of Matanzas, Cuba. Sport24.az reports that our grandmaster Azer Mirzoyev is in the leading group.
Our chess player, who drew with local chess player Luis Lazaro in the sixth round, increased his score to 5 and continues his fight for the top spot. Although there are six more chess players with the same score, Mirzoyev is in second place based on additional indicators.
A total of 119 chess players are participating in the tournament.
