According to Idman.Biz, this statement was made by Iranian Grandmaster Movahed Sina, a two-time winner of the Baku Open Chess Festival.
The chess player first won this competition in 2024. He said that this year's Baku Open was different for him:
"In 2024, many leading chess players from India participated. This time it was a little easier, and I have also improved my game in the last two years."
Sina noted the high level of the Azerbaijani chess team and also emphasized the growing number of talents in the country.
