The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has announced the updated ranking table of national teams. According to Sport24.az, the list is compiled based on the average score of the ten strongest chess players of each country.
The average rating of the Azerbaijani men's chess team is 2625 points. With this result, our team dropped one place to 8th.
Our women's national team retained its previous position – remaining in 11th place with 2299 points.
It should be noted that the USA (2729 points) continues to lead among men, and China (2496 points) among women.
