Azerbaijani chess player Khagan Ahmad has moved one point ahead of his closest followers at the international "Lankaran Open" festival.
Idman.biz reports that in the seventh round, he won his 6th victory in the tournament, bringing his score to six and distancing himself from his rivals.
Five participants have five points each, including Ukrainian Vitali Bernadski, the winner of the rapid competition, and Rustam Rustamov.
