The international rating chess tournament dedicated to November 8 – Victory Day, organized jointly by the Trade Unions Council of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, with the support of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, has concluded at the Nakhchivan Chess Center.
Idman.Biz reports that chess players of various age categories demonstrated their skills and knowledge at the tournament.
A total of 87 chess players participated in the competition. Among them, 51 were rated and 36 were unrated players. The tournament featured 11 female and 24 male participants, as well as 62 young people aged 6–16, 2 Turkish citizens, and 5 veteran chess players.
