The international rated chess tournament dedicated to November 8 - Victory Day, organized jointly by the Trade Unions Council of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, with the support of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, has ended at the Nakhchivan Chess Center. Sport24.az reports that chess players of different age categories demonstrated their skills and knowledge in the tournament.
A total of 87 chess players participated in the competition. 51 of them were rated players, and 36 were unrated players. 11 women and 24 men participated in the tournament, as well as 62 young people aged 6-16, 2 Turkish citizens and 5 veteran chess players.
