The "Sharjah Masters" international chess tournament continues in the UAE. Sport24.az reports that Azerbaijani grandmaster Mahammad Muradli continues his winning streak.
He defeated Eddie Voodworth (USA) in the seventh round, winning his third consecutive game.
This result allowed Muradli to rise to 20th place with 4.5 points. Moreover, our chess player is only half a point behind Nodirbek Abdusattorov (Uzbekistan), who is in second place.
The leader of the tournament is Anish Giri (Netherlands) with 5.5 points.
