The leadership of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ASF) held a meeting with the parents of chess players who play in the national team of adolescents and youth.
Idman.Biz reports that at the meeting, the President of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, Mahir Mammadov, informed about the support program for chess players presented by the federation.
The ASF leader noted that the early detection and non-retardation of talented children is kept in the focus.
The head coach of the national team of adolescent and young chess players, Nijat Mammadov, spoke about the selection and preparation program for the support project. Farid Abbasov, the coach who participated in the meeting, and Ilaha Gadimova, the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, emphasized the special role of parents in the preparation of chess players.
The importance of proper nutrition of children and the effective use of preparation time was discussed at the event.
It should be noted that at the end of the meeting, the ASF leadership and coaches answered the questions raised by the parents.
