The interbank chess championship organized by the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev has ended.
About 50 representatives from 13 banks competed in this year's championship, which has been held for the 9th time since 2016. ABB was represented in this competition by Rauf Hajili, Deputy Director of the Financial Monitoring and Compliance Department, Rasul Mansimli, Head of the Risk Solutions Department, Rasul Efendiyev, Leading Programmer of the Physical Channels and Operations Department, and Mehdi Mammadov, Programmer of the Corporate and SME Products Department.
In the team standings, ABB became the champion of the championship this year as well, with Yelo Bank and Ziraat Bank ranking 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In the individual standings, Rauf Hajili, Deputy Director of ABB's Financial Monitoring and Compliance Department, took first place. Rasul Mansimli, Head of ABB's Risk Solutions Department, won 2nd place.
