Idman.Biz reports that no winner was determined in the meeting between the leaders during the round. Nijat Abasov drew with Spaniard David Guijarro.

Our other representative, Aydin Suleymanli, defeated Lithuanian Valeri Kazakouski with black pieces. The current Azerbaijani champion, Muhammad Muradli, defeated Latvian Nikita Meshkovs with white pieces.
After 10 rounds, three Azerbaijani chess players are in the top five of the tournament table. Nijat Abasov and Aydin Suleymanli, who scored 8 points each, share 1st-2nd places. Muhammad Muradli, who has the same score, is in 5th place according to additional indicators.
In the final round to be held today, Suleymanli will play against Muradli with white pieces, and Abasov will face Romanian representative Daniel Bogdan.
