Azerbaijani MMA fighter Vugar Keremov will not be able to participate in the Rizin tournament scheduled to be held in Japan.
Idman.Biz reports that he shared this information on his "Instagram" page.
Vugar Keremov said that the fight planned to be held tomorrow in Kobe city with Koyomi Matsushima has been canceled due to poisoning:
"I apologize to the Rizin organization and my fans. I had a very hard preparation for three months and was in great shape. But I got poisoned three days before the fight and couldn't recover. I will try to return to the gym as soon as possible and continue training."
It was reported that the fighter was diagnosed with viral gastroenteritis.
It should be noted that Vugar Keremov won 7 of 10 fights he had in the Rizin organization.
