Idman.Biz reports that the fight will take place on November 16 in New York City, USA, at "UFC 322".
Maddalena's last fight was in May at "UFC 315" in Montreal, Canada. His opponent was Bella Muhammad, an American of Palestinian origin. The fight lasted five rounds and ended with Makhachev's victory by unanimous decision.
Makhachev's last fight was on January 18 at "UFC 311" in Los Angeles against Brazilian Renato Moicano. The fight ended with the Russian athlete's victory in the first round. This was Islam's 14th consecutive lightweight victory.
