Russian MMA fighter Umar Nurmagomedov, a former UFC title contender in the bantamweight division, has once again expressed his desire for a rematch with Georgian Merab Dvalishvili, the current UFC champion in the 61 kg weight class.
Idman.Biz reports that Umar's goal is to avenge his loss to his Georgian opponent.
"Of course, I want to get revenge on Merab and hurt him. I would really like to smash his face throughout the whole fight, for five rounds," - the "Red Corner MMA" X social network account quoted Nurmagomedov.
Recall that the first fight between Umar and Merab took place on January 18 in Los Angeles at "UFC 311". The fight lasted five rounds and ended with Dvalishvili's victory by unanimous decision of the judges.
