The first UFC tournament has kicked off in Baku today.

In the heavyweight division, Hamdi Abdel Wahab (6-0-0, Egypt) faced Muhammad Usman (11-4-0, Nigeria). Usman was declared the winner by the judges' decision.

Azerbaijan is represented by 3 fighters in the tournament.
In the historic night, the second most important fight will be between Rafael Fiziev, 11th in the ranking table, and Chilean Ignacio Bahamondes. Our other representative, Nazim Sadykhov, will clarify his relationship with Brazilian Nicolas Motta. UFC debutant Tofig Musayev will face Kyrgyz Myktybek Oralbay.
