The first match of the tournament organized by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in Baku has taken place. Sport24.az reports that in the first match of "UFC Fight Night", Hamdi Abdel Wahab (Egypt) faced Muhammad Usman (Nigeria).
Usman won the three-round heavyweight duel.
Note that the main fights will start at 23:00. In the main duel of "UFC Fight Night", US representatives Jamal Hill and Halil Rountree will face each other.
Azerbaijani athletes Tofig Musayev will face Myktybek Orolbai from Kyrgyzstan, Rafael Fiziev will face Ignacio Bahamondes from Chile, and Nazim Sadykhov will face Brazilian Nicolas Motta.
