American UFC fighter Bo Nickal has announced that he will participate in a UFC event to be held at the White House.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to the athlete, he has gained the support of US President Donald Trump for this.
"This is history. How exciting. I spoke to President Trump - he wants me to compete too. I think if everything goes well, it will happen.
I was promoting the RAF (Real American Freestyle) tournament on FOX. He called me, encouraged me, said some nice things. We discussed it a bit. I told him I wanted to compete and he said, "consider it done." He and Dana White are very close, so his recommendation will definitely help me," Nickal said on YouTube's "The Ariel Helwani Show".
