Andy Aspinall, the father and head coach of 32-year-old English UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, spoke about his son's recent condition.
Idman.Biz reports that during a face-to-face encounter, 35-year-old French MMA fighter Ciryl Gane poked Tom Aspinall in the eye.
After that, Aspinall withdrew from the fight, and the fight was considered a no-contest.
"Everything is bad. Tom still can't see anything with his right eye. He just said there's a gray layer in front of his eye. The vision in his left eye is only 50%, he sees everything very blurry," said father Aspinall on the "Championship Rounds" account on the X social network.
