The date of the next fight of Azerbaijani athlete Tofiq Musayev in the UFC has been announced.
Idman.biz reports that the 35-year-old athlete, informing Offsideplus.az about this, said that the fight will take place on October 5 this year in Las Vegas, USA.
Musayev's opponent, who competes in the lightweight category, is not yet known.
He said that he will prepare more seriously for his second fight in the UFC: "We will hold 2-3 training camps to prepare for the fight. Our physical training will be in Baku. Then we want to go to America. That's the plan for now. After the opponent is known, the details regarding the preparation process will be clarified a little more."
Let us remind you that Tofiq Musayev made his UFC debut on June 21 in Baku. Our compatriot, who fought against Kyrgyz Mıktıbek Oralbay, unexpectedly fell into a painful trick in the first round and surrendered.
He has a 4-fight contract with the UFC management.
In addition to Musayev, two more athletes - Rafael Fiziyev and Nazim Sadikhov - represent Azerbaijan in UFC competitions.
