Honored Master of Sports of Russia Irina Sinetkaya died at the age of 48.
Idman.biz reports that this was announced by the press service of the Russian Boxing Federation.
"The death of Irina Sinetkaya is a great loss for boxing. It is a heavy and bitter feeling that she is no longer with us. We express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Irina Vladimirovna. Her memory will always remain with us," the statement said.
It should be noted that Sinetkaya was a three-time world champion, five-time European champion and 11-time Russian champion.
