The U-15 European Boxing Championship has started in Budva, Montenegro.
"Report" informs that 3 athletes of the Azerbaijani national team won on the first day of the competition.
Eljan Musazade (50 kg) defeated Devidas Sisikis (Lithuania) in the 1/16 finals. Our boxer won with a score of 5:0 (30:24, 30:26, 30:26, 30:25, 30:26). He will face Vladimir Khvistani (Georgia) in the next fight.
Nasrin Abdullazade (40 kg) also recorded her first match in the European Championship. Our boxer eliminated Ester Molosan (Hungary) in the 1/8 finals - 3:2 (29:28, 29:28, 30:27, 28:29, 28:29). Abdullazade will test her strength against Esila Yildirim (Turkey) in the 1/4 finals.
Leyla Mahmudlu (50 kg) won against Alexandra Sinagra (Italy) in the 1/8 finals. Our representative defeated her opponent with a score of 3:1 (29:27, 29:27, 29:27, 27:29, 28:28). She will hold her second match against Adriana Munos Gines (Spain).
It should be noted that the European Championship, which is attended by 369 boxers from 32 countries, will end on October 25.
