Subhan Mammadov (50 kg) faced Fredelin De Los Santos (Dominican Republic) in the 1/16 finals. Our boxer defeated his opponent with a score of 4:1 (29:28, 29:28, 29:28, 29:28, 28:29).
He will face Samet Gümüş (Turkey) in the 1/8 finals. The fight will take place on September 9.
It should be noted that one boxer from our national team will enter the ring on the third day of the World Cup.
