The famous Mexican boxer Saul Alvarez will not enter the ring until the second quarter of 2026.
"Report" reports with reference to ESPN that the 35-year-old athlete underwent elbow surgery.
His recovery will take at least two months, and his return to the ring will not be sooner than 12-15 weeks.
The boxer was last defeated by US representative Terence Crawford.
It should be noted that S. Alvarez has been a multiple world champion according to the versions of the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the World Boxing Association (WBA), and the World Boxing Organization (WBO).
