The European Junior Boxing Championship will start on July 10 in Novi Pazar, Serbia.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team will also compete in the 7-day competition.
Vagif Kazimov, the head coach of our national team consisting of male boxers, and coaches Agasi Mammadov and Teymur Mammadov will give a chance to Gardash Rahimov (46 kg), Ali Aliyev (48 kg), Muhammad Rasulov (50 kg), Sadig Musayev (52 kg), Raul Heydarli (54 kg), Aflatun Ismiyev (57 kg), Shahin Aslanov (60 kg), Hagverdi Hasanov (63 kg), Deniz Zeynalov (66 kg), Adil Zalov (70 kg), Huseyn Vahabov (75 kg) and Safdar Mammadzade (+80 kg) in the championship.
Anar Bakhishov, the coach of the team consisting of female boxers, will test Aylin Nazarova (46 kg), Gular Huseynova (48 kg), Amina Taghi (50 kg), Jamila Muradli (52 kg), Zahra Mammadova (54 kg), Aynur Ismayilova (60 kg), Fidan Bakarova (63 kg) and Sama Abbasova (66 kg) in the competition.
Anar Naghdiyev will be among the referees at the European Championship.
It should be noted that the team went to Serbia under the leadership of Rovshan Huseynov, a member of the Board of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation. Our boxers will return to Baku on July 17.
