Our Boxers Advance to Semifinals at the Victory Cup

The "Victory Cup" boxing tournament has started in Russia.

İdman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team, participating under the name "Baku", started the tournament from the 1/4 final stage.

At the "Victory Cup" held in Perm, our boxers' opponents were "Ural". "Baku" won the match with a score of 3:2. In the 4-round matches, Zaur Gahramanov defeated Mark Urvanov, Saidjamshid Jafarov defeated Khyshbakht Kuldashev, and Muhammad Abdullayev defeated Aleksandr Dorofeev in our team.

"Baku" will enter the semifinal fight on May 24. The meeting will take place in Volgograd.
