Algerian athlete Imane Khelif, the winner of the 2024 Olympics in boxing, has ended her career.
Lent.az reports that the athlete's manager, Nasser Yesfah, informed the "Nice Matin" portal about this.
"Now she has given up everything. After what happened at the Olympics, she is not motivated to box again. She only trains in Algeria or goes to Qatar to stay in shape, but she does nothing else," Yesfah said.
It should be reminded that Khelif became the Olympic champion in the 66 kg weight category. After the Paris Olympics, the athlete's gender test was revealed. It turned out that the transgender athlete, who became a champion among women, is a man according to all physical indicators, not a woman.
