Nakhchivan karate fighters successfully performed at the "Black Sea and Caspian Countries Karate Championship" in Rize, Turkey.
The local bureau of "Report" informs that 3 athletes represented the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic at the competition.
Of these, Fatima Baghirzade (10–11 years old, 50 kg) defeated all her rivals and became the champion. Khadija Bayramova (10–11 years old, 35 kg) won a bronze medal.
It should be noted that about 1000 athletes from the Black Sea and Caspian basins competed in the competition in the categories of children, hopes and youth.
