The Georgian fighter defeated his opponent in the third round and retained his title.
This fight was Dvalishvili's second victory in 2025. In January, he defeated Umar Nurmagomedov by unanimous decision. Earlier, the athlete stated that he planned to hold four fights during the year. Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen are among the next possible opponents.
It should be noted that Merab Dvalishvili took an active part in the preparation of Azerbaijani fighter Nazim Sadikhov for the UFC tournament to be held in Baku during a joint training camp in New York.
