MMA star Conor McGregor has called Islam Makhachev an "easy target" in the welterweight division.
Idman.Biz reports that the Irish fighter gave Della Maddalena, who will face Makhachev, some advice:
"He will be "easy meat" at this weight. He has no striking power or positional awareness. At best, he can "hang like a bag" on his opponent's back. There is no need to be afraid of him. If you show patience, endurance, and anger, he will lose himself before the fifth round is over."
It should be noted that Islam Makhachev will face Della Maddalena on November 15 at the famous "Madison Square Garden" arena in New York as part of the "UFC 322" tournament.
Della Maddalena currently has an 18-fight winning streak and won the welterweight belt at "UFC 315" in May.
Makhachev is considered the most titled lightweight champion in UFC history. The champion, who continues his 15-fight winning streak, is aiming for a second belt in the welterweight category.
