Famous Russian MMA stars Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev have arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament to be held in Baku.
"Report" reports that "MMA Azerbaijan" has released information about this.
H. Nurmagomedov is a former UFC lightweight champion. The Russian, who ended his career in 2021, won all 29 matches he played.
I. Makhachev is also a former UFC lightweight champion. The athlete, who continues his career, defeated his opponents in 27 of the 28 fights he has fought.
It should be noted that Tofig Musayev, Rafael Fiziyev and Nazim Sadykhov will represent Azerbaijan in the tournament to be held on June 21.
