"Our athletes are in excellent physical condition."
According to the Western Bureau of "Report", this was stated by the Secretary-General of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, Gabil Sayadov, in a statement to journalists.
He said that he expects high results from Azerbaijani karate fighters at the III CIS Games.
"We expect gold medals from our athletes in these competitions. We even have several athletes that we have great hope for. Among our rivals are Asian champions. But our athletes are also ready to fight against them. Their physical condition is at a high level," the Secretary-General emphasized.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani karate fighters won 3 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals today at the competition organized at the Mingachevir Kur Olympic Center.
