UFC welterweight (up to 77 kg) champion, Australian Jack Della Maddalena, shared his thoughts on how his fight with Russian Islam Makhachev will begin.
Idman.biz reports that their fight will be the main event of "UFC 322", which will take place on November 16 in New York.
"I think our fight will start on the feet and we'll move from there. Islam will try to use different methods. He'll probably try to go for a takedown from the start. Islam watched Belal's fight with me. He probably thinks Muhammad's mistake was not going for a takedown from the beginning. So I expect him to go for a takedown in the first round," Maddalena said.
