34-year-old former UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev of Russia shared his thoughts on his upcoming fight with current UFC lightweight champion Jack Della Maddalena of Australia.
Idman.Biz reports that their meeting will take place on November 16 at UFC 322 in New York, USA.
"It's no secret that I'm better than Jack in wrestling and grappling. I can compete with anyone standing up. On November 16, I will show who is the best fighter in the world," Makhachev said in an interview with the UFC press service.
Makhachev has 27 wins in his professional career, 18 of them by finish, and 1 loss. He is currently on a 15-fight winning streak.
