III CIS Games: Azerbaijani boxers finished the tournament with 24 medals.
According to the Western Bureau of "Report", the final fights in boxing competitions were held today at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex as part of the III CIS Games.
Azerbaijani boxers Gardash Rahimov (46 kg), Ali Aliyev (48 kg), Ali Abasli (52 kg), Shahin Aslanov (60 kg) and Safdar Mammadzade (+80 kg) won gold medals.
In addition, Ali Rushanov (46 kg), Aykhan Hasanov (50 kg), Raul Heydarli (57 kg), Aflatun Ismiyev (57 kg), Togrul Guliyev (60 kg), Hakhverdi Hasanov (63 kg), Adil Zalov (70 kg), Shukar Aliyev (75 kg), Ismayil Veliyev (80 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be reminded that yesterday our female boxers finished the tournament with 1 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals.
Thus, Azerbaijani athletes won 24 medals in the tournament.
