The boxing competitions continue at the III CIS Games hosted by Azerbaijan.
Idman.biz reports that 33 matches will be held today in the 1/4 finals of the competitions held at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex.
7 athletes of our national team are competing in 5 weight categories.
In the first match of the day, our boxer Gular Huseynova competed with Bibisora Rajabova (Tajikistan) in the 48 kg weight category and won with a score of 4:1.
During the day, Gardash Rahimov will face Mikita Beskaravaini (Belarus) in the 46 kg weight category, Ali Rushanov will face Angsar Ussenkhan (Kazakhstan) in the 46 kg weight category, Mahammadali Karimli will face Azizbek Shkokirjonov (Uzbekistan) in the 50 kg weight category, Aykhan Hasanov will face Dayanch Orayev (Turkmenistan) in the 50 kg weight category, Ibrahim Badalli will face Erbol Baratakhunov (Kyrgyzstan) in the 54 kg weight category, and Hidayat Mammadov will face Oybekjon Abdurahimov (Uzbekistan) in the 70 kg weight category.
It should be noted that the III CIS Games, in which a total of 1624 athletes from 13 countries participate, will end on October 8.
