The second day of boxing competitions at the III CIS Games, hosted by Azerbaijan, has come to an end.
Report informs that 4 more athletes of our national team won in the 1/4 final stage of the tournament held at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex.
Gular Huseynova (48 kg) defeated Bibisoro Rajabova (Tajikistan) – 4:1 (26:30, 26:30, 26:30, 27:30, 29:28). She will face Shahnozabonu Imomaliyeva (Uzbekistan) in the semifinals.
Gardash Rahimov (46 kg) was stronger than Mikita Beskaravainy (Belarus). Our boxer won against his opponent with a score of 3:2 (28:29, 30:27, 29:28, 30:27, 27:30). He will clarify his relationship with Damir Nazarov (Tajikistan) on the way to the final.

Aykhan Hasanov (50 kg) was superior to Dayanch Orayev (Turkmenistan). Our boxer won with a score of 4:1 (27:30, 29:28, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27). He will fight Behruz Umarov (Tajikistan) in the next match.
The boxers who reached the semifinals have also secured at least a bronze medal for themselves.
