Former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo of Brazil was involved in a serious car accident.
Idman.Biz reports that the fighter himself announced this.
"Thank God I was saved. I got into an accident today. Apparently a young woman driving hastily and at high speed crashed her car into the middle of my car, causing my car to flip several times," Figueiredo wrote on social media.
Figueiredo, who currently competes at bantamweight, fought in the main event of "UFC Fight Night 261" on October 12 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Deiveson defeated American Montel Jackson by judges' decision.
