UFC CEO Dana White spoke about his plans for professional boxing.
Idman.biz reports that he is developing the "Zuffa Boxing" project with Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia.
"In 2026 I'm actually launching my new show and what I'm going to do is like 'Contender Series'. The best will fight the best, the undefeated will fight the undefeated, and what you're going to do is not just wait for the main event, but wait for the first fight of the night. So I'm going to develop stars, put on great fights, and then those guys are going to go fight for Turki," White said in an interview with Vegas PBS.
White has repeatedly stated that modern boxing is "destroyed" and that his intention is to save this area.
