Former UFC two-division champion Daniel Cormier has stated that Khabib Nurmagomedov will never step into the octagon again.
Idman.biz reports that, according to the American, all talks about Khabib's possible return are unfounded.
"Thinking that Khabib will fight again is far from reality. When Khabib said he was offered $40 million and he refused, I understood: this guy will never come back. Calling him out is like calling out the Pope... he won't fight," Cormier said.
Nurmagomedov is 37 years old. He last fought in October 2020 at "UFC 254," where he defeated Justin Gaethje to defend his lightweight title for the third time. Khabib finished his career undefeated with a record of 29-0.
