The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament held in Baku became one of the longest events in UFC history.
According to "Report", citing "MMA Junkie", the tournament lasted 2 hours, 53 minutes, and 52 seconds.
The event, featuring 12 fights, is the 11th longest tournament in UFC history. It is also the longest event featuring 12 fights. In 10 of the bouts, the winner was determined by judges' decision.
It should be noted that the main event of the night featured US representatives Jamal Hill and Khalil Rountree. The light heavyweight fight lasted five rounds. H. Rountree was eventually declared the winner.
Among Azerbaijani athletes, Nazim Sadykhov defeated Brazilian Nikolas Motta, and Rafael Fiziev defeated Ignacio Bahamondes from Chile. Tofig Musayev lost his fight against Myktybek Orolbai from Kyrgyzstan.
