Azerbaijani Tahir Abdullayev, known as "Tank", defeated his Russian opponent Oleg Kostrov ahead of schedule at the Ural FC (Ural Fighting Championship) tournament held in Moscow.
Idman.biz reports that the fight ended in the first round with a knockout.
Abdullayev previously made headlines by challenging Armenian fighter Armen Torosyan. He caused a wide resonance among fans on social networks, saying, "Give me Torosyan, I'll make dolma out of him."
It should be noted that MMA fighter Tahir Abdullayev became the new champion of the "UAE Warriors" organization in the 77 kg weight category. He won the title by technically knocking out the previously undefeated Russian Shakhban Alkhazov. Alkhazov is a relative of the famous fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.
