Members of the Azerbaijani national taekwondo team (adults) successfully competed at the "Swiss Open 2025" international tournament held in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
"Report" informs that our representatives Bahruz Guluzade (54 kg), Javad Agayev (80 kg) and Minaya Akbarova (46 kg) won gold medals, surpassing all their rivals.
Etac Gafarov (87 kg) won silver, and Gashim Magomedov (63 kg), Riyad Shiraliyev (68 kg) and Samarrukh Osmanova (49 kg) won bronze medals.
Bahruz Guluzade, a member of our team, was chosen as the best athlete of the competition.
Our national team was awarded first place in the overall team score at the competition. At the end of the tournament, the cup was presented to the Azerbaijani national team by Chungwon Choue, President of the World Taekwondo Federation.
