Azerbaijani junior taekwondo athletes won 15 medals at the European Championship in Athens, the capital of Greece.

It was reported that five of them are gold, five are silver, and five are bronze.
Ahmad Murvatov (27 kg), Asma Abdullazade (27 kg), Fidan Gafarova (30 kg), Rizvan Abdullayev (30 kg), Jahid Ismayilzade (52 kg) won gold, Ayshan Abuzarova (27 kg), Umid Shahbazov (36 kg), Subhan Rzayev (40 kg), Fateh Sultanli (44 kg), Huseyn Ismayilov (52 kg, "Atlet" TK) won silver, Vidadi Mammadli (27 kg, "Altay" TK), Rugayya Aliyeva (27 kg, "Narimanov" IC), Aydan Huseynova (30 kg, "Iravan" TK), Aysu Garibli (44 kg), Gunesh Azimzade (52 kg) won bronze awards.
The Azerbaijani team also took first place in the medal standings.
It should be noted that, in addition to the national team, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals were won by representatives of the "Atlet" TK, "Altay" TK, "Narimanov" IC and "Iravan" taekwondo clubs.
