Azerbaijani boxers win bronze medals at the World Championship in Liverpool

The World Boxing Championship for men and women, organized by World Boxing for the first time in Liverpool (England), continues.

Idman.biz reports that two representatives of Azerbaijan entered the ring in the semi-final matches.

Sajidjamshed Jafarov (75 kg) lost to Uzbek athlete Fazliddin Erkinbayev 1:4, and Alfonso Dominguez (90 kg) lost to Brazilian Isaias Santos Ribeiro Filho 2:3.

Both Azerbaijanis won bronze medals at the World Championship.
