Azerbaijani boxers have won 3 bronze medals at the World Cup held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
"Report" informs that our representatives, who lost to their rivals in the semifinals, settled for third place.
Subhan Mammadov (50 kg) lost to Sanjar Taskenbay (Kazakhstan), Mahammadali Gasimzade (60 kg) to Luis Gabriel du Nascimento (Brazil), and Mahammad Abdullayev (+90 kg) to Aybek Oralbay (Kazakhstan).
It should be noted that about 300 boxers from 30 countries participated in the World Cup, which will end tomorrow.
