The semi-final fights have ended at the World Boxing Cup held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Sport24.az reports that 3 boxers from the Azerbaijani national team competed in this stage.
Subhan Mamedov (50 kg) faced Sanjar Taskenbay (Kazakhstan), Mahammadali Gasimzade (60 kg) faced Luis Gabriel do Nascimento (Brazil), and Mahammad Abdullayev (+90 kg) faced Aybek Oralbay (Kazakhstan). Since their opponents advanced to the final, our representatives won bronze medals.
It should be noted that about 300 boxers from 30 countries participated in the World Cup, which will end tomorrow.
