The Azerbaijani national team consisting of male boxers will hold a training camp in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
The Boxing Federation informed "Report" about this.
Subhan Mammadov (50 kg), Amin Mammadov (55 kg), Zalikhan Suleymanov, Mahammadali Ashuraliyev, Mahammadali Gasimzade (all three 60 kg), Zaur Gahramanov, Malik Hasanov (both 65 kg), Nabi Iskandarov (70 kg), Rasim Chobanli (75 kg), Murad Allahverdiyev (80 kg) and Mahammad Abdullayev (+90 kg) will participate in the training.
The national team will train together with the USA, Canada, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Switzerland and Australia and hold test matches at the training camp, which will end on June 28.
At the end of the training, Zaur Gahramanov, Mahammadali Ashuraliyev and Zalikhan Suleymanov will return to Baku, while other boxers will participate in the World Cup to be held in Kazakhstan. This competition will last from June 30 to July 7. Our female boxers Marjona Savriyeva (51 kg), Zeynep Rahimova (54 kg) and Aynur Mikayilova (57 kg) will also compete in the World Cup.
It should be noted that the male boxers, who will leave for Astana today, will return to Baku on July 8. Our women's national team is training in Kastamonu, Turkey.
