The Azerbaijani national team consisting of male boxers will hold a training camp in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
Idman.biz reports that Subhan Mammadov (50 kg), Amin Mammadzada (55 kg), Zalikhan Suleymanov, Mahammadali Ashuraliyev, Mahammadali Gasimzada (all three 60 kg), Zaur Gahramanov, Malik Hasanov (both 65 kg), Nabi Isgandarov (70 kg), Rasim Chobanli (75 kg), Murad Allahverdiyev (80 kg) and Mahammad Abdullayev (+90 kg) will participate in the preparation.
Our national team will train and hold test fights together with the USA, Canada, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Switzerland and Australia at the training camp, which will end on June 28.
At the end of the preparation, Zaur Gahramanov, Mahammadali Ashuraliyev and Zalikhan Suleymanov will return to Baku, and our other boxers will participate in the World Cup to be held in Kazakhstan. This competition will last from June 30 to July 7. Our female boxers Marjona Savriyeva (51 kg), Zeynep Rahimova (54 kg) and Aynur Mikayilova (57 kg) will also compete in the World Cup.
It should be noted that our male boxers, who will leave for Astana today, will return to Baku on July 8. Our women's national team is training in Kastamonu, Turkey.
